A good quality William IV period (circa 1830) mahogany cylinder bureau bookcase. The top section having glazed doors with adjustable shelving. The cylinder opens to reveal a pull out fully fitted interior, complete with a tilting leather writing surface. The base section with cupboard doors, Flanked with mahogany carved scrolled pilasters, which open to reveal a generous storage space with two sliding trays. This bookcase has been sympathetically restored in our workshop. Retains its original finish with signs of use commensurate of age.
